Early Moonrise

An early moonrise
Pale against the setting sun
Each shines in its time

  1. If sun and moon can share a sky, why can't Assad and his people? Because the moon and sun have no political ambitions and aren't just meaner than sin. In fact I wager to bet that neither sun nor moon feel anything for us, for each other, or even for their own place in the world. Now is that cynical or what? That's why I'm not a poet. :-)

    1. To get people to think and have opinions, perhaps even new ones, is why I write. The sun and the moon are two parts to the story. Just being is wonderfully freeing.

But you are a great writer, you cynic :-)
