Doris, I love many things about winter. As an environmental educator, I often tell students that although many people think trees are boring in winter, I explain that without their leaves, you can see a tree's true character - how straight it stands, it's broken branches, new growth, healed scars, etc.
I also love winter. In many ways it is one of my favorite times to go out with the camera. The contrasts make for such beauty. Thank you for stopping by.
