Reminds me of a poem my Grandmother Nan wrote after she'd become a middle-aged woman. In it, a woman observes a young man and muses, "Where were you when I was young?" Sometimes we do need a bench to sit while we wonder how the years passed so quickly with our thoughts so flippant.
